solitude sunday

solitude sunday at the whimsey project. our day to spend time with a book. what are you reading? share your book with the whimsey project today.

eastern approaches by fitzroy maclean continues. the chapter finished today detailed the trial of several high-level soviet government officials. a show trial for these people to be found guilty of crimes they did not commit. a very interesting spectacle.

  1. I have been reading In Order To Live by Yeonmi Park. It is about Yeonmi's family's live in North Korea and the hardships they faced. Then goes on to tell of their very difficult and dangerous escape from North Korea and how hard it was to adapt to living in South Korea. It's very enlightening about the life of North Koreans. Very difficult life just to survive.
