solitude sunday

solitude sunday at the whimsey project. our day to spend time with a book. any book will do, however, consider reading books that have been sitting on the bookshelves for quite some time. i'm working through mine.

saints and strangers by george f willison is the history of the pilgrims. after almost 200 hundred pages of the book, the pilgrims have finally made it across the atlantic ocean to the new world. as if they haven't experienced enough already, more trouble awaits them. from what i read about their experiences thus far, it's amazing they even made it to the new world!
