trivia tuesday

trivia tuesday at the whimsey project! our day to share lots of trivia. we have categories:

NOT SOMETHING YOU SEE EVERY DAY! for the farm. one of the outside mama kitties had a second litter of late summer kittens! two yellow and one gray mixed. so cute.  having just viewed a pbs special on the roosevelts, the kittens have been named, tr, fdr and eleanor!

  1. Definitely not something you see everyday: While in the STL airport yesterday, He saw some people traveling with a baby kangaroo in a backpack! He and his partner were able to talk with the lady for a few minutes. They were in town for some kind of fundraiser. He said the bag looked similar to corduroy with a cinch top. The lady said the kangaroo liked it because it was similar to a pouch. The baby was pretty small, around 10 pounds. He was going to get a picture, but it stuck it's head out for only a few seconds and that was it. Pretty cool!

    1. wow! that's some NOT SOMETHING YOU SEE EVERY DAY! seeing a baby kangaroo in a pouch is a rare sighting. a baby kangaroo in a pouch in an airport is remarkable! what a neat experience. thank you for sharing with us!

  2. On the way into town, I saw the METLIFE blimp going south along the way of the interstate. Maybe it was looking for Snoopy and Woodstock!
