what's in a name? while visiting with family last week, we were watching a competition program on the food network. one of the contestants, who won, was a baker named kitchens!
ReplyDeleteJohn Corbett--star of Northern Exposure, Sex and the City, and many movies--actually had a concert at a little local theater in Crossville, TN.

(He is gorgeous and very tall--6.6.)
Last week I had to take my vehicle to the dealership for repairs. The dealership will have someone drive you to another location during the repair time. So, as this was going to take several hours, I took them up on the offer and went to Barnes & Noble. My driver for the day was Glenn Brummer. He played pro baseball, catcher for the STL Cardinals and was on the team that won the World Series in 1982. After retiring from playing, he went on to coach and was Yadier Molina's first coach in the US and also was Albert Pujouls first hitting coach! Not every day you get driven around by a World Series Champ!
ReplyDeleteAlso, the same day as the previous post, after I was back at the dealership waiting on my vehicle, I got a Diet Coke out of the vending machine. It was one of the bottles with names on them. Guess which name?! That's right, Kathy! How about those odds!

*wow! that's quite a day, kathy. while having car trouble isn't fun, the circumstances brought your own name on a coke and you met a famous st louis cardinals championship player! YOU DID NOT!!! lol...
