it's splurge day for whimsical wednesday! to splurge is to indulge. that means do something or get something you wouldn't usually do or have. like flowers? get yourself a bouquet! have a favorite latte but never have it? have one today? want to go somewhere but haven't made it? go today! whatever suits you, indulge!
my splurge for whimsical wednesday is two-fold. first, i ordered a mystery art challenge kit for libby and i enjoy together when she comes home. this splurge requires delayed gratification! in the meantime, after completing this post, i will spend the rest of the day working in my art journal. no chores or musts today! just art and perhaps a bit of reading.

I took time out from getting the house back in order and unpacked and spent a couple of hours in the pool. Yesterday was actually the first day in but most of the time was spent cleaning and vacuuming. Today was mostly relaxing!
