trivia tuesday

trivia tuesday at the whimsey project.  our day to share all manner of trivia.  we have categories:
*NOT SOMETHING YOU SEE EVERY DAY! unusual experiences.
*YOU DID NOT! experiences shared with others and they don't believe you.
*what's in a name?  a person's surname matches their profession.
*internet fun.  neat stuff found on the internet.
*i read somewhere.....  neat stuff read but can't remember where.
*general trivia.

NOT SOMETHING YOU SEE EVERY DAY!  while walking the driveway to collect the mail one day last week, i encountered a snake on the driveway; stretched out, catching rays.  from a distance it looked like a piece of rope or a branch about an inch around and about eighteen inches long.  however, it was apparent it was bright green so i was sure it was a snake.  it was. he was on the right side of the driveway so i walked slowly around him on the left side.  when i repeated the return trip he was still there and i walked slowly around him again.  after i got half way toward the house, i turned around to look.  he was still there catching rays.  haven't seen him since, which is just fine with me!
