the challenge to go through a day without using plastic only revealed how much plastic there is and how difficult it is not to use it. food i ate came in plastic containers, the handle of the refrigerator is plastic, my shoes are plastic, the phone case is plastic, the keyboard on the laptop is plastic, the tv remote is plastic. had i actually shunned plastic i would haven't have done much at all. as it was, i opted not to drink from a plastic straw.

ReplyDeletei could have not watched tv or used the phone or computer and other stuff throughout the day but that just seemed like a good day ruined. perhaps it's not durable plastic, like the remote or keyboard, that is the concern but the disposable plastic like straws.
