solitude sunday
we read books on solitude sunday. today i continue with amy dickinson's strangers tend to tell me things, a memoir of love, loss and coming home. currently she's recounting her teen years with her mother and older sisters post abandonment by her father. she describes her mother's parenting style as benign neglect.
