solitude sunday

we read a book on solitude sunday. i'm reading william g baker's, "alcatraz #1259". mr baker was a prisoner at alcatraz and this is his story. i often wonder about process when reading a particular book. how did the writer do his work? getting into the rhythm of this read, it seems mr baker recorded his book and it was transcribed because it was it reads exactly how he must talk.

  1. I thought so too. There's not much editing. I liked reading it the way it is tho. Made it seem more like his true story

    1. i am enjoying his style. it's his story so it should be in his style. i like that there's not much editing. that really makes it seem like he's just talking.
