whimsical wednesday
we're celebrating national dork day for whimsical wednesday! dorkiness equals silliness and whimsey! spend the day doing very dorky activities and being a dorky person. share your dork day here at the whimsey project!
what a dork day i had! started with the tutoring session i had with my young friend. the dorkier and sillier i am, the more interested she is in the work. yesterday was no exception. i was super dork! then came errands. i don't have to work at being a dork when interacting with shop clerks, it just happens. at lunch with friends i wore a huge pin. throughout the two hour lunch visit i kept thinking i feel like a real dork. and i did because i don't wear jewelry. i felt super dorky. after lunch i shopped at the dollar store for silly birthday stuff for daughter's 40th birthday celebration next week. bought all the kids party items. everything a different birthday motif so nothing will match, except to say happy birthday. i got stuff to make treat boxes. after shopping i visited a sick friend and presented her with balloons. wheeeeeee..... my dork day ended with creating a dork page in one of my art journals.
