dork day made me think about people's quirks and uniqueness.  it was perfect to have come across the following quote from pics with a story via twitter:

you will always be too much of something for someone: too big, too soft, too loud, too hard. if you round out your edges, you lose your edge.  apologize for mistakes; apologize for unintentionally hurting someone-profusely. but never apologize for being who you are.
