over the course of about a mile, the carrier pigeon is faster than the fax machine.
certainly a turtle could deliver snail mail quicker than the post office. i sent a letter from the midwest to the east coast and it took 11 days! how does that happen with first class mail?
I hear ya----I sent a package to the midwest--I could track it and it took a better vacation than I did. It went through the Memphis regional center 4 times.I finally called the postmaster here and where it was supposed to be delivered to. I guess because it is uphill from here.
