solitude sunday

we spend time with a book on solitude sunday. my time with shady characters; the secret life of punctuation, symbols & other typographical marks by keith houston. today's chapter highlighted the octothorpe aka the #, the pound sign, hashtag. the octothorpe has it roots in the symbols for money.
