gather ye pencils while you may! it's national pencil day for whimsical wednesday. gather ordinary, everyday, no frills pencils. throughout the day, create at least five ways to use pencils beyond writing and erasing. report your results to the whimsey project!
Oh neat! I celebrated and didn't even know it! I found pencils that have 4 colors of lead in one at the Dollar General. I had one of these as a kid. It was amazing to me, I almost didn't want to use it up! Fun to see they are still being made.

Deletei used my pencil like a stylus to type and punch keys on the telephone. also used it as a pointer.
