thoughtful thursday
rose wilder lane:
happiness is something that comes into our lives through doors we don't even remember leaving open.
I like this quote but find it interesting. In the online class I did about Laura Ingalls Wilder, Rose was a big part of the material as she was a great help to her mother when Laura started writing, helped edit her books and get them published. But, my impression, at least in the material we had, was that Rose was not a very happy person. Interesting that she would have such a nice quote about happiness.
