book detour! yesterday i was at the new local bookstore. found a book there that required immediate attention. fernanda santos' the fire line is the true story of the members of the granite mountain hotshots. the wildfire fighters who perished in the 2013 wildfire that suddenly took on a life of it's own, trapping them. i knew it would be a sad read but i wanted to read it anyway. so the journal has begun.
