we are celebrating the beginning of summer this whimsical wednesday by participating in a favorite summer activity.
one of my most favorite summer activities is to watch the fireflies (or lightning bugs as we called them when we were children). as darkness falls this whimsical wednesday, i am looking forward to spending time watching the fireflies.
what favorite activity did you participate in to celebrate the arrival of summer?
That is my favorite activity too! I love watching the lightning bugs hovering over the fields of Wee Acres.
ReplyDeleteI hear there is an area in the Great Smoky Mountains where the fireflies all blink at the same time! A tour to that incredible sight is on my bucket list.
neat that we share the same favorite summer activity! like your wee acres, the fireflies hover over the meadow here at the farm. gorgeous! wow. fireflies blinking all at the same time at the great smoky mountains. that would be something to experience!
