it's whimsical wednesday! writing in our memory books or notable notebooks or both today!
entries were made in both my memory book and notable notebook. in the notable notebook, i made note of a few tweets read on twitter and one from a neat blog, www.craftinwithsuz.com. suz wrote that her husband's thumb was so green he could grow rocks! in my memory book, i wrote about memories of rain. among the memories i recalled was that my grandchildren, when very young, called their rain boots splashy shoes. why splashy shoes? because their awesome mother allowed them to splash in every puddle of rain they encountered!

When the kids were little they called their galoshes 'Flying Shoes!' The little button on the side used to attach the strap on the boot was pushed when they wanted to 'take off'!
