cats are unable to taste sweetness. the dna on the gene that allows for the tasting of sweetness is defective.

  2. We had a cat that loved frosting. Couldn't leave anything out or open that was frosted. She also loved pecan sandies. if we had those they had to be in a cabinet or she would get the package open and eat them. Maybe her defective gene, wasn't!
