the day after christmas. it can be just as engaging as the holiday itself. when my children were young, it was a day to either undertake a special project at home or go somewhere on an adventure. projects typically included something arts and crafts. adventures typically to some neat place like a state or national park or a museum. we called it "celebrating the day after the holiday"! do (or did) you do something special the day after a holiday? what did you do? share with the whimsey project!
The day after Christmas was our day to celebrate as all the family finally arrived the evening before. We had a very nice, yummy sit down dinner and then after cleanup had fun opening gifts and stockings and laughing.
