whimsical wednesday

we're getting it done for whimsical wednesday! we all put off those small tasks that we notice then think. "i'll do it later". later usually becomes never. for whimsical wednesday, just do it. if you are working on a project or whatever around the house, at work, wherever, something might come up. a small side job or something you notice that needs to be taken care of. just do it! keep track of your tasks. how many "just do it" tasks did you accomplish throughout the day? share your experience with the whimsey project.

  1. throughout the day, as i worked on tasks, i sidelined several times to take care of the do it now jobs. the main one was dealing with plumbing. after that it was dealing with an issue in the barn. then there was the "i hope nothing else needs my attention because i'm worn out"! a few of the do it now tasks took five minutes or less. so satisfying to feel accomplished at the end of the day.

  3. This post about taking care of things and "just do it" made me laugh. This was Dad's response to anybody that opposed, argued, or tried to get out of something. At home or in the youth group at church. He even had a specific hand motion that went with the words, kind of a chop, chop motion. One of my long time friends from high school says that Nike stole this saying from John Baker! LOL!!!

I did "just do it" on a few things tho!
