whimsical wednesday
with colder temperatures, we think of being snuggled up in all manner of blankets. a favorite blanket is a quilt. for whimsical wednesday we are creating a quilt pattern! patchwork design, the original american quilt pattern, is made up of shapes: rectangles, squares, triangles. get out your paper, colored pencils and ruler to create your quilt pattern using these shapes.

the quilt pattern i created was a variation on sunshine and shadow using purple and green colored pencils.
