over the weekend i had an early holiday dinner with friends. we have been having a christmas dinner together for several years. being even older than i am, there are certain items put on the table every year. like a relish tray; pickles, olives and such. another is the jello mold! this year's was fancy, fancy! what are some of the food traditions you share with family and/or friends?

At my Mom's always Rhodes frozen rolls. My boys and their cousins called them "refrigerators" when they were young. ????
ReplyDeleteShe also always has either her carrot cake (which none equals) and/or red velvet cake.
At Charlie's Moms house, there is always a frozen salad with fruit and cool whip. It's pink, but I don't know what the name is. Now, it's called Robert's salad because he loves it so much.
Here at my house, since Brandon's birthday is right at Christmas time, he has a favorite extremely chocolate cake with chocolate ganuche in between the layers and a rich chocolate icing. Pillsbury cinnamon and orange rolls on Christmas morning! YUM to all!!!
