solitude sunday

we spend time with a book on solitude sunday. my visit with keith houston's shady characters: the secret life of punctuation, symbols & other typographical marks continues. the hyphen and dash were featured in the chapters i read today. i came away thinking, "how could a simple, short, straight line have so many meanings as well as configurations?".
