trivia tuesday
from mental floss:
cats are unable to taste sweetness. the dna on the gene that allows for the tasting of sweetness is defective.
We had a cat that loved frosting. Couldn't leave anything out or open that was frosted. She also loved pecan sandies. if we had those they had to be in a cabinet or she would get the package open and eat them. Maybe her defective gene, wasn't!
This is why you don't have to worry about cats and antifreeze - or the pie on the window sill. hehe
ReplyDeletei believe it about the antifreeze. not so sure about the pie!
