the farmers' almanac. a thoughtful compendium published continuously since 1818; proving that there are some forums of thoughtful that endure! check it out. it's a delightful and enlightening read. although old, the almanac has joined the modern age of the internet. find the almanac here: http://www.farmersalmanac.com/
