our thanksgiving holiday weekend was more than successful. it was wonderful, grand, pleasant, goofy, playful and everything else whimsical. by sunday evening the house was empty and quiet and felt so large. it would be the perfect time to feel sad but it was, instead, the perfect time to feel full of five days just spent.

fitzroy maclaean's, eastern approactes, is approaching it's end. as i read along i was awaiting the arrival of part three. more pages were on the left side of the book than on the right side. where was part three i continued to wonder? it was there all the time, i just missed it. i've been in part three for at least two weeks. remember that our hero was on a special mission for the british government; not a regular military guy. his mission was completed and he's on his way back to britian, with several stops intervening.

in the big city of chicago where i attended the latest performance offered by the luna troop; the chicago based dance company my daughter founded and is the creative director of. this was a special performance in that it marked the 20th year anniversary of the luna troop. so pleased that i have been able to attend every performance of the troop as the years have passed.  a proud mama i am of my daughter's creative achievement!

get ready for whimsical wednesday! i belong to several on-line art journaling groups. another member posted a photo of a prompt her young daughter gave her. (a prompt is a nudge in the process of creating; as in offer words, materials, etc.) it was so pretty. let's follow this young prompter and create something! it doesn't have to be an art journal page.  it could be a postcard, a note card, a picture. decoration for the upcoming holidays.  begin to formulate in your mind what you will make with her prompt:
